“Deaf literacy from the grassroots” – Release of documentary film

We are delighted to announce the release of the documentary film “Deaf literacy from the grassroots”, directed by Sibaji Panda and produced in India. This half-hour long film takes you along on the journey of our peer-to-peer deaf literacy work in different locations across India, from training the project team to developing the grassroots learning methodology, implementing the learner groups and online resources, and analysing the results. We feel privileged to be able to celebrate the outcomes of this work, which has since expanded into “Peer to Peer Deaf Multiliteracies” in Ghana, Uganda, and India.
