Our alumnus Paul Scott coordinates WFD project in north Africa

We are very pleased to congratulate our alumnus and associate Paul Scott, who has been appointed to coordinate a major capacity building project in northern Africa beginning this month, run by the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD). The two-year project covers the Maghreb region, including Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Mauritania, with funding from Finland’s Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

The project focuses on deaf communities in the Maghreb region

As Project Officer, Mr Scott will be involved in human rights training as well as in leadership, drawing on his pioneering academic research and several years of teaching in the Jordanian deaf community.
