Special lecture 21st October: ‘Towards the Transversity: What does a University for the Future look like?’

The iSLanDS Institute and SoLLIS are very honoured to welcome Dr Markus Molz, coordinator of the international University for the Future Initiative (U4F), to UCLan on Tuesday 21st October.

Dr Molz will give a special lecture entitled ‘Towards the Transversity: What does a University for the Future look like?’, comprising both a presentation and a workshop. The transformation of universities as key societal institutions will be discussed, including their evolution from the ‘multiversity’ model to that of the ‘transversity’ and the many indicators that we are living in an era of a significant historical change in higher education.

The lecture will take place in the Harrington building, room HA223, from 4-6pm on Tuesday 21st October. BSL/English interpretation will be provided. Please email jmbwebster@uclan.ac.uk to confirm your attendance.
