Visiting PhD student Makoto Iwayama featured in British Deaf News
We are so pleased that our visiting PhD student, Makoto Iwayama, has been featured in this month’s issue of the British Deaf News. He gives a fascinating insight into the Japanese Deaf community and discusses his doctoral research into support for deaf people in the workplace. Makoto is a student at the University of Kagoshima in southern Japan. He is currently on a one-year study visit at iSLanDS in order to investigate British employment support services for Deaf and HOH workers. He can be contacted at email@example.com.
