SIGN conference committee members announced
We are thrilled to announce the members of our newly-established SIGN committee, who will propel our successful, seven-years-running conference series into an exciting future:
– Upendra Khanal, Indira Gandhi National Open University, India
– Christian Rathmann, University of Hamburg, Germany
– Annelies Kusters, Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity (from Sept 2013), Germany
– Junhui Yang, UCLan, UK
– Sibaji Panda, UCLan, UK
– Simeon Hart, UCLan, UK
This committee will ensure that our SIGN series, which has grown from 50 to well over 100 participants per conference, continues to fulfill its unique goals and reach its intended international audience for many years to come. Their names will be published in all publicity and conference materials for SIGN. Their work will include selecting and supporting conference hosts; establishing academic committees to review abstracts; preparing the conference programmes; and publicising SIGN across their academic and professional networks. Our next conference, SIGN7, is set to benefit greatly from their valuable contributions.
We would like to sincerely thank our committee members for their enthusiastic commitment to the future of SIGN, and we hope that this will bring them a wealth of experience and enjoyment.
It may be possible for additional members to join the committee in the future as and when needed. Please email Simeon Hart (SHart1@uclan.ac.uk) if you are interested in being contacted regarding this.
