PART-TIME PROJECT WORK AT UCLAN’S SIGN LANGUAGE INSTITUTE

3 May, 2011

The International Institute for Sign Languages and Deaf Studies (iSLanDS) at UCLan is offering part-time project work this summer. You will be working with academic staff on the development of multimedia materials, including video material, in the area of language and culture.

Work is available between mid-May and the end of August, with flexible part-time hours at an ad hoc payment rate of £12 per hour. This is suitable for recent graduates in the area of language / media / communication, or an equivalent level of experience. Candidates should be able to work independently under guidance and have excellent IT literacy. Skills in sign language are an advantage, but not necessary.

For further details, please contact the Institute Director Prof. Ulrike Zeshan at uzeshan@uclan.ac.uk
