MA awarded to our deaf student from India
Sunil Sahasrabudhe from India has passed the viva examination for his MA by Research degree, and we are having a little party today to celebrate. He passed straight without any conditions for changes to the thesis, which is quite rare, so well done to Sunil! His research on literacy acquisition by deaf students in India was funded through our project under the UK-India Education and Research Initiative, and it is great to see the group of young deaf academics growing in India. Sunil is now going to join the teaching team in the BA programme for deaf students that we teach in New Delhi together with our Indian partner university.
